Project Summary
This project focused on restoring the strength and weatherproofing of the roof by addressing key wear points along the ridges, hips, and valleys. Over time, mortar can crack and tiles can loosen, allowing water to penetrate and cause further damage if left untreated.
Our team carefully re-bedded and re-pointed all ridge and hip concrete capping tiles using a traditional mortar base, finished with a modern flexible pointing compound for added durability. Damaged valleys were stripped out and replaced to ensure proper water flow off the roof, and any broken tiles were replaced as needed.
The result is a roof that not only looks neat and well-maintained but is also better protected against leaks and future weather exposure.
